ALBUM RELEASE

"ROLLERCOASTER"


The Nightporters have just signed a major three album world-wide deal with Trojan Records.  The new CD entitled Rollercoaster is now scheduled for release in September and will be coming out on the INDIGIO label.  Indigo Records is the U.K.'s foremost Blues label.  You will be able to order the CD from any of the high street chains.

 

The album was recorded at Applestone Studios, Torquay, Devon, during January, February and March of this year.  It is engineered by Phil Curtis and mixed by Martin Vowles.  All tracks were arranged by THE NIGHTPORTERS.  The mastering was completed at K.G. Engineering, Ipplepen, Devon.   The CD contains 13 tracks, six which are original compositions.  Track information as follows:

Special quests on the Rollercoaster album were Ben Waters, who played piano on tracks 1, 7 & 8 and Johnny Dyke (from Out Of The Blue) who planned Hammond B3 Organ on track 5.

 

The Bishopstock Blues Festival Sampler CD Keeping The Faith was released in May.  It features a track from THE NIGHTPORTERS - Let'er Roll from the Feelin' Good CD.  Other artists featured on the CD include Buddy Guy, Taj Mahal and Otis Grand.
