Festival favourites throughout Britain, Ireland and Europe, this year (1998), The Nightporters performed at every major U.K. Blues Festival, including a headline spot on the British stage at Britain's biggest Blues Festival - The Great British R&B Festival, Colne, Lancashire.
Since the start of the year The Nightporters have not only extensively toured throughout the U.K. but have undertaken three European tours which have included club and festival dates in Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Germany. They also made several visits to Ireland, playing The Castlebar Heineken Blues Festival in May, and The Guinness Temple Bar Blues Festival, Dublin in July.
During the past two years, The Nightporters have guested on various Radio Stations in the U.K. and Europe, including the recording of a session at BBC Pebble Mill for The Paul Jones Blues Show on Radio 2.
The Nightporters' debut CD Feelin' Good was recorded April 1997 at Sawmills Studio, Cornwall - one of the U.K.'s top residential studios. It was launched July 1997 on the Wang Recording Label.
Distributed throughout mainland Europe by the "All Blue Record Service", Feelin' Good was listed in Belgium as being one of the top selling Blues CDs of 1997. So popular had the band become in Europe, that a bootleg Nightporters CD surfaced earlier this year entitled Live at Club Bonkel Nob!
